STEM Racing, formerly known as F1 in Schools, is a national STEM competition organized by the Jubilee Centre for Excellence in Education (JCEE). The competition challenges student teams to design, engineer, and race miniature Formula 1 cars using computer-aided design (CAD), engineering principles, and rapid prototyping.

As part of a global competition framework, STEM Racing progresses through national, regional, and world finals, providing students with opportunities to compete and collaborate at both local and international levels. As Jordan’s national organizer, JCEE oversees the national qualifying rounds and supports winning teams as they advance to international stages.

Beyond the excitement of racing, the programme offers an integrated learning experience that combines engineering, technology, innovation, project management, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and enterprise skills. Through hands-on design and competition, students develop the creativity, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills needed to succeed in future STEM fields.
